Who We Are

Techimprovement is the brand of Tech Improvement Inc., a software company based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We build extensions and apps for online stores, and we help merchants keep those stores healthy, secure and up to date through ongoing support subscriptions.

Our focus is practical: tools that solve a specific problem in a store, and engineers who can step in when a store needs attention.

What We Do

Magento 2 and Adobe Commerce extensions

We build extensions that add features to Magento 2 and Adobe Commerce stores and fill gaps in what the platform does out of the box. Each extension is sold as a one-time license for one production store and includes free updates. You can install it from a ZIP file or from our private Composer repository, using access keys you generate in your account.

Shopify apps

Our Shopify apps are installed from Shopify and billed monthly or yearly through Shopify, so the charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice.

Support subscriptions

For merchants who want a dependable technical partner, we offer monthly and yearly support plans for Magento, Adobe Commerce Cloud, Shopify and WordPress stores, such as our Magento Growth package. Our engineers take care of maintenance, fixes and improvements so your team can concentrate on running the business.

How We Work

The engineers who write our extensions and apps are the same people who support them. When you report an issue or ask a question, it reaches someone who knows the code and can act on it.

On support subscriptions, our engineers work directly in your environment, whether that is your store admin, your code repository or your hosting, using only the access you choose to give them. We prefer to test changes on staging before they reach your live store, explain what we are doing in plain language, and leave your store documented and easier to maintain.

Our Principles

• Clear licensing. One payment per production store, free updates, and freedom to develop and test on staging and local environments at no extra cost.
• Code that respects the platform. We build on each platform's own extension points, so our products are easier to upgrade and work well alongside the rest of your store.
• Straight answers. If something is not a good fit for your store, we would rather tell you before you buy than after.
• Care with your access and data. We use the access you give us only for the work you ask for, and we treat your code and customer data as confidential.
• Fix causes, not symptoms. We would rather solve a problem properly once than patch it again every month.
